Before receiving jobs, all new Crowd Manufacturers must complete a test print challenge. We'll send you a file to print, photograph, and submit for quality review. This helps us ensure consistency across our network and allows you to showcase your skills.

Cadly's Crowd Manufacturer Network works like Uber, but for making real-world products.

Whether you're a hobbyist with a single printer or a side-hustler with a small workshop, you can earn money by fulfilling prototype orders through our platform — one job at a time.

1. Sign Up & Complete a Test Print

  • After submitting the signup form, we'll send you a test print file.
  • You'll print the object using your own equipment and typical materials.
  • Then, you'll photograph the result in good lighting (top, side, and close-up angles) and upload it for review.
  • This helps us verify your machine quality, print consistency, and attention to detail.

2. Quality Review & Approval

  • Once you submit your test print photos:
  • Our team will review them within 2–3 business days.
  • If your print meets the baseline quality required for prototype production, you'll be approved and added to our Crowd Manufacturer network.
  • If adjustments are needed (e.g. printer tuning or print quality), we'll provide friendly feedback and offer a chance to retry.

3. Access Orders in Your Area

Upon approval, you'll be granted access to Cadly's prototype job board, where you can:

  • View available product jobs near your location
  • See required specs (e.g. material, color, size, turnaround)
  • Accept the jobs you want — there's no obligation to take every order

Each job includes:

  • Ready-to-print files (STL or GCODE)
  • Shipping labels and instructions
  • A guaranteed payment rate per unit or batch

You are in control — accept only the orders that work for your schedule and setup.

4. Print, Ship, Get Paid

Once you accept a job:

  • Print the part(s) as described
  • Package them using simple, provided instructions
  • Attach the shipping label and send it off

After the customer receives and approves the item (or automatically after a grace period), your payment is released directly to your Cadly account.
